Hi Addie!

My favorite book is The City of Ember. I think The City of Ember is exciting because Doon and Lina find a strange piece of paper that is titled "Instructions for Egress". Doon and Lina think that they might know how to find a way out of Ember but they are not sure. It has cliff-hangers! My favorite charecter is Lina becuase she is very brave and not scared, unlike me. The City of Ember makes me want to learn more about when things are scarce, or running out. In The City of Ember, peaches and corn and apple sauce were all scarce. The book taught me about how people feel when they are running out of things.
